Types of Crates.

Los Alpes offers two types of wooden crates classified according to the materials used for its assembly:

	Wood t is the most common and it offers great protection. Its structure is fixed and the boards are stapled or nailed together.
	Wiring It allows its sides to be hinged, which makes the crate flexible. The boards are linked by wires to provide the required flexibility. This type of crate is ideal for irregularly shaped products.

Due to the fact that all merchandise has different needs for their packing, at Los Alpes we design and manufacture crates specifically for every product; you just have to contact us and we will design the crate that best fits the merchandise’s specifications.

To assist this need, the company implemented the thermal treatment, which consists of the wood being exposed to heat to help eliminate pests and parasites, prior to the export.

At Los Alpes, we are authorized to apply the international phytosanitary measures for the wood assembly that is used in the international market of goods and merchandise, as it is established by the Norma Oficial Mexicana (Official Mexican Standard) NOM-144-SEMARNAT-2004.
